The Kaeru Kaeru no Mi (変える変えるフルーツ, Alter Alter Fruit) is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants the user the ability to alter the molecular build up of any non-living matter. The user can forcefully shapeshift any non-living (including food) matter into any other non-living matter they desire. In a sense, the user of this fruit can also "make anything materialize out of thin air", by swiping their hands through the air and re-arranging the molecular build up of the air to be the molecular build up of a weapon (and so on). So, along with changing any matter into any other matter (forceful shapeshifting, i.e. chaging the molecular build up of a cement floor to become magma), the user can also essentially create objects out of air (or turn things into gas/liquid). This fruit was eaten by Mikarla Chamberlaine, Captain of The Sweetwater Pirates .

Translation: Alter
Meaning: To Change
English Name: Alter Alter Fruit

Type: Paramecia

Power: Matter Transmutation. Allows the user to forcefully alter the molecular build up of any non-living matter. Basically, the user can shapeshift any non-living matter in the universe to any other non-living matter.

Eaten By: Mikarla Chamberlaine

Created By: Happy Meadows

Appearance:[]

The fruit is watermelon sized and rounded, but is covered in many lumps. It is a creamy, pale yellow color, with light brown swirls covering the fruit. It has a short, curly stem, colored the same as the swirls on the fruit.

Strengths:[]

Strengths: The fruit comes with many deadly strengths. With the power of this fruit, the user is never defenseless. Because the user can alter any non-living molecular build up, the user can change the air in an enemies lungs into cement in a second, just by changing the air in front of them into a trail of cement that leads into the users lungs. The user can grab the foes clothing and change it into a mixture of gasoline and flint, causing the foe to be engulfed in flames. The user can change the wooden walls around them into diamond. The user can sneak onto an enemy ship, press their hands against the wooden hull of the ship, and re-arrange the molecules to change the matter of the wood ship into air, essentially wiping the ship from existence.

Weaknesses:[]

Weaknessess: The users hands are absolutely necessary for this power to work. If their hands are crippled or removed, the power is completely useless. Also, despite being able to change non-living matter, the user has the typical weakness to water. If the user is submerged in the ocean, they are completely hapless, and are too weak to alter the sea water around them.

Typical Usages / Attacks:[]

Caeli Ad Terrem ( Air to Earth ): The user waves their hands through the air, causing a chain reaction and re-arranging the airs molecules to be that of cement. The user changes the air around and inside of an enemy to be hardened cement.

Non Edules ( Inedible to Edible ): To prevent starvation, the user can alter the molecular build up of sand into that of food or liquid.

Arma ( Weaponry ): Altering the molecular build up of the air around them, the user materializes a flintlock pistol out of thin air.
