Kaine (カイネ, Kaine) is a member of the Hidden Pirates and is one of the two acting Captains.

Appearance

Kaine is a fair skinned man that stands at six foot five inches, towering over the average sized person. He has unusually colored teal eyes and black hair that goes just past his shoulders.

He normally wears a tan vest with armored shoulder pads and a black one piece coverall suit beneath it, the legs stopping just short of his ankles to compensate for his black open-toe sandals. He wears steel plated gloves that cover his forearms and he has a belt full of kunai wrapped around his waist. Kaine also wears an elaborate, flowing white cape that doubles as a cloak when he wraps it around himself and shrouds his identity with the hood. In his possession, Kaine carries a legendary Meitou called the Murasame that is said to be a cursed sword, so he keeps it wrapped up in bandages that supposedly suppresses the swords evil power.

Much like his comrades Hunter and Kirin, Kaine also wears a unique headband with the symbol of their crew etched into it.

Personality

Being one of the two Captains that run the Hidden Pirates, Kaine is more of a ruthless fighter and he rarely shows mercy to those that they defeat. He is not beneath fighting dirty in order to win and he will most certainly kill someone that challenges him or his crew.

He can be considered unstable by some of his allies, which they attribute to him carrying around a cursed sword that undoubtedly destroyed his sanity over the years, but he is a perfectly capable leader and will do anything to protect his nakama.

Kaine is one of the most respected members of the crew despite his obvious personality flaws. He is looked upon for guidance and protection by his other nakama when they get into something over their head and he willingly helps them out regardless of the situation.

Kirin Kusogawa

Kaine seems to have some manner of relationship with Kirin that has yet to be explained.

Abilities

Kaine is a master swordsman, fighting with a cursed blade of destructive power called the Murasame. He seems to be able to control other worldly powers with it.

History

At an unknown point in time, Kaine met with Kain Kobiashi and they formed the Hidden Pirates together.

Trivia

  • The character Kaine, and this article were created by Subrosian.
  • Kaine is originally a character created for a fan made Naruto-based RP on the online community site GaiaOnline on March 5th, 2005. In that story, he was a murderous psychopath that had little to no emotion for his comrades. He has clearly gone through several character changes, but some of his quirks still remain.
