Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Penguin (Bird Bird Fruit, Model: Penguin) is a Zoan devil fruit that grants its consumer the ability to transform into a penguin or a Human-Penguin hybrid creature. This devil fruit was eaten by Paul Icefish, the Captain of the Antarctic Pirates, one of the toughest New World crews dubbed the "Garando-Juugo", the Void Fifteen.
Appearance[]
It resembles a teal blue apple with swirls on it. The stem is "S" shaped and lime green.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
The main strengths is that it allows the consumer to transform into a penguin. While normal penguins can swim, naturally he can't, however he is better skilled at sliding on ice than most penguins, which isn't necessarily a combat skill but has it's uses. He, like most hybrid Zoan forms (i.e. Lucci's, Jyabura's, Dalton's, and Minorhinoceros's) gains immense physical strength and muscle mass, regardless of penguins not usually having it to such an extent.
Naturally, water and seastone or any other standard Devil Fruit weakness still affects him.
Named Moves[]
- Pain-guin: He lunges at the opponent and slams them with his left arm.
- Pain-guin Icepick: Icefish takes his trademark icepick weapon and uses Pain-guin, but after slamming his left arm into the enemy, he cuts the enemy with his icepick held in his right hand.
- Garando-Juugo-style: Pain-guin smash: Essentially the same as Pain-guin, but rather than simply jumping at the opponent, he disappears as if using Soru, but is really using a thing known as Void Aura, a concept that has only been described by Sakazuki as "coating yourself in gaseous Haki". How such a thing is possible is unexplained at the moment. After jumping with pseudo-Soru, he rockets toward his foe and rather than smash one arm, he hits his fists into the opponents head, both fists. Onlookers describe it as looking like symbols due to the way Gaseous Haki twists visual perception of reality. This was first used on Vice Admiral Strawberry at Sabaody Archipelago when the entire Void Fifteen were protecting the Straw Hats from nearly every strong Marine from Marineford (or at least ones who weren't killed by Whitebeard's pirates at the first battle of the Grand Line War, the Battle of Marineford) led by one of the three Admirals, "Akainu" Sakazuki. His strongest known attack.
