Appearance

The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Thunderbird is a dark blue fruit shaped like grapes with various lightning bolt patterns on it and a black stem holding the grapes together.

Strengths and Weaknesses

This Devil Fruit grants the user immense physical strength and the ability of flight. Along with being able to transform into a Thunderbird made of lightning at will, the fruit allows the user to regenerate any wounds with lightning, as the Thunderbird is a being with a body made of pure lightning and as such it can regenerate it's body parts by using lightning.

The user is able to take a hybrid human-bird form, also being able to transform selective parts of his body without changing his whole appearance. He often turns only his arms into giant wings made of lightning and his hands into talons, along with the ability to create thunderclaps and sent lightning bolts to electrocute his opponents.

Much like Marco's Devil Fruit, the human body is not intangible and is, therefore, not immune to damage from enemy attacks. The user can recover from injuries gained by Haki empowered attacks as well as when he is in contact with seastone by turning into her Thunderbird form at a later time. As a result this is an advantage that this fruit has over Logias.

Like the Goro Goro no Mi, this fruit also suffers from a unique weakness; rubber and most other natural insulators. The user will loose their intangibility in the lightning form against attacks from insulated weapons. Besides this, the user is also affected by the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

Usage

The user can create powerful thunderclaps/sonic booms by clapping her hands together and can shoot bolts of lightning from her eyes in his hybrid form. The user can transform into a hybrid or a full thunderbird at will and gains all lightning and thunder abilities of a thunderbird.

Trivia

  • Zeke and Meteor both have Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit powers.
